my first post

ok so i have started reading some posts on blogger, and while i have an msn space it seems to have evolved to be more about work than home.

i have a beautiful 14 month old son who is the major focus of all my days and i wasn't connecting with other mommies and daddies out there who understand how thrilling it is to watch a little person learn new things and develop!

most of my days are filled with the prerequisite diaper changes, meals, snacks, sippy cup filling, but i'm sure plenty of you know how enjoyable it is to hear your child begin to truly talk to you while he goes about his buisness :

"mama!" "yes Will" a smile, "mama! aba da whassat? oh aaba"( add in lots of voice inflection and gesturing ) "oh really baby?" and off he goes again!

he learned to walk last week and i still haven't gotten used to seeing him come around the corner carrying a sippy cup or a toy, doing his own thing....kind of amazing and a little bit sad! he's so big! he can entertain himself! when did this happen?

anyway i hope this blog can be about celebrating my amazing little guy, and making some like minded friends to share all the fun of toddler temper tantrums and the glory of two hour naps with!!
